金融管理學院學士班 Undergraduate Program of Financial Management College

The words of the head of the department

Dear Bachelor's Program Students,

Greetings!

The Bachelor's Program in Financial Management at the CTBC Business School welcomes its first cohort of students in the academic year 2018. Guided by the development principles of "Liberal Arts, Macroscopic View, Professionalism, and Pragmatism," we aim to cultivate interdisciplinary financial management talents.

The concept of Cross-disciplinary Program has been implemented in the United States for many years. It emphasizes that high school graduates no longer need to choose a specific major upon entering university but instead explore their abilities, interests, contemporary social issues, and even global environmental changes during their time in college. After completing fundamental subject learning, students gradually delve into cross-disciplinary study and research on topics of interest, seeking possible solutions.

The Bachelor's Program in Financial Management at the CTBC Business School aligns with international trends. Centered around the College, we have established 20 major credit-based programs (including fully English-taught programs), enabling students to engage in diverse and adaptive learning. This approach aims to cultivate students' keen observation of problems and enthusiasm for knowledge exploration. The credit-based programs integrate courses from various departments, guiding students in pursuing thematic courses systematically to fulfill the requirements of mandatory and elective credits. Moreover, by connecting with the university's software and hardware facilities and policies, we nurture students' international perspectives, establish mechanisms for independent learning, and develop skills in cross-disciplinary analysis.

We warmly welcome you to join the Bachelor's Program in Financial Management at the CTBC Business School. Through interdisciplinary learning and the integration of campus resources, we will assist you in planning your four-year study journey. We hope that after four years, each of you will emerge as professional managers with distinctive characteristics and competitive advantages.

Yours sincerely,

Dear of the Undergraduate Program of Financial Management College
